Night of the Stars 2018

NIGHT OF THE STARS is the signature fundraising event for CKRH with proceeds offsetting our operating costs from horse care to facility needs. Its yearly success has enabled our programming to expand beyond therapeutic riding. Now the face of a CKRH client includes a military veteran experiencing post-traumatic stress, a high school student needing an alternative learning environment and a survivor of domestic violence learning to trust again.

The highlight of the night features eight CKRH riders and their horses wearing thematic costumes. Just like a traditional horse sale, the pairs are presented to our guests who bid for the right to sponsor our beloved equine partners for the coming year. Attendees enjoy encouraging and good-naturally ribbing their friends to outbid each other, but the true joy is seeing our participants and horses become STARS for the night!
